Dividend Update: December 2022

My December 2022 dividend total is $5,893.49

This means that in December:

  • I earned $190.11 every day from dividends
  • I earned $36.83 per hour from dividends (assuming a 9-5pm job).
  • I earned $7.92 every hour of every day of the month from dividends.
  • My top 3 dividend earners this month were largely energy related and were 41% of my monthly dividend total:
    1. Enbridge ($1,050.92) – 17.8% of my monthly dividend total
    2. EEMV-iShares MSCI Emerg Min Vol ETF ($841.50) – 14.2% of my monthly dividend total
    3. SUNCOR ENERGY INC ($524.68) – 8.9% of my monthly dividend total
  • Including rental property income, my total passive income in December was $6,236.85
  • My equity purchases totalled $52,367.04 ($459.99 new capital)

  10. 3.6237 shares of EEMV – BTC iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol Emerging Markets ETF
  11. 10 shares of BMO LADDERED PREFERRED SHARE INDEX ETF
  12. 5 shares of TRP – TC Energy Corporation
  13. 1 share of ISHARES S&P/TSX CAPPED REIT INDEX ETF
