Dividend Update: April 2022

My April 2022 dividend total is $5,149.28

This means that in April:

  • I earned $171.64 every day from dividends ($5,149.28 / 30 days).
  • I earned $30.65 per hour from dividends (assuming a 9-5pm job)
  • I earned $7.15 every hour of every day of the month from dividends.
  • My top 3 dividend earners this month were diversified across the financial, energy and telecommunications industry and accounted for almost 38% of my monthly dividend total:
    1. Bank of Nova Scotia ($985) – 19.1% of my monthly dividend total
    2. Algonquin Power & Utilities ($499.52) – 9.7% of my monthly dividend total
