Dividend Update: July 2022

My July 2022 dividend total is $6,051.79

This means that in July:

  • I earned $195.22 every day from dividends ($6,051.79 / 31 days).
  • I earned $36.02 per hour from dividends (assuming a 9-5pm job).
  • I earned $8.13 every hour of every day of the month from dividends.
  • My top 3 dividend earners this month were diversified across the financial, utility and telecommunications sectors and accounted for just over 34% of my monthly dividend total:
    1. Bank of Nova Scotia ($1,032.06) – 17.05% of my monthly dividend total
    2. Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp ($548.22) – 9.06% of my monthly dividend total
    3. BCE Inc. ($478.40) – 7.91% of my monthly dividend total
